This part of the business can be so exciting and at the same time overwhelming. The length of the sale and the numbers of horses entered is a lot to get through. A good agent is used to dealing with this and looks at it as just another day at the office.

This is the part of the business that we really like and thrive on. Our service includes pedigree analysis along with conformation evaluation.

It is of the utmost importance to match the right horse to fit your particular goal.

Our commission is 5% of the winning bid at the sale. In cases of travel an expense fee will be included. We attend all the sales in Kentucky at both Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton or anywhere else as warranted

Consultation:

I have been in this business for close to 30 years. I have experienced all the highs and all the lows. This is a fascinating business and this wide range of emotional spectrum escapes no one. I can share my knowledge gained over years in the business to help you match your needs with the area of the thoroughbred industry which is right for you, whether it be breeding, racing or pin hooking. I can also help you choose a stallion for your mare.

Pin Hooking:

Pin hooking can be defined as buying at one sale with the plan to sell again. You can pin hook a weanling to sell as a yearling or perhaps more commonly pin hook a yearling to sell as a two year old. It can be extremely lucrative and can eliminate some of the risk and time involved in breeding a mare, waiting for a foal and then having to accept what she delivers.
